What Would Drive a Mother to Kill Her Own Children?

Every so often we hear about mothers who kill their children. Although many of us do not know the circumstances surrounding such tragic events, we do know that as parents ourselves, we have to be able to recognize when someone we love is heading for the deep end and we have to get them some help and psychological counseling. Otherwise, innocent children will continue to die at the hands of those who are supposed to love them the most.
