Choosing a Multivitamin

Healthy foods, such as whole grains, fruits and vegetables, are the best sources of vitamins and minerals. But because it is sometimes hard to get all the nutrients we need from food, all adults should take one multivitamin per day.
The March of Dimes
recommends that all women of childbearing age take a multivitamin with 400 micrograms of folic acid every day, as part of a healthy diet.
