Early
Summer
When I first started Mommy Too! Magazine in
October 2003 I wanted to ensure that every mother of color who was pregnant, a
new mom, or a mom who had had some experience at mothering and motherhood had a
place on the Net to really call home; a place where she could say, "I really
like this magazine. They're thinking about and talking to me. I think I'll keep
reading". Well, 18 issues later I can wholeheartedly say I have achieved my initial
goal of providing a magazine for moms of color to tune into, where you are the
main thought, not just an afterthought.
Now, as the magazine grows and more and more moms
learn about Mommy Too!, I come to you for some guidance. What would you like
to see more of in Mommy Too!? What is your
favorite part of the magazine? What would you like to see less of? How can
Mommy Too! Magazine become a better publication and best suit your needs and
tastes?
Before we begin to lay the foundation for yet
another issue, I want to hear your suggestions, ideas and thoughts for the
future for Mommy Too!, because as much as Mommy Too! was an idea of mine, it's
definitely your
magazine. Send letters to
feedback@mommytoo.com.
I look forward to hearing from you! All the
best,
Jennifer James
