Eco-Friendly Technology

I don't know about you, but I am indeed a tech geek; well at least I am in my mind! At this juncture I do not have the funds to purchase every sundry piece of "electronics heaven" I would love to use and show off to my friends and family, so while I dream about one day owning an Apple notebook I read about the latest products bursting on the scene in the tech world.
Little did I know that electronics can actually be considered "green". I had no clue about green technology until I was reading an article in ZDNet about tech companies that are using reusable materials for their laptop casings and finding ways to make hand-powered digital cameras. Green technology products are a far cry from recycling your soda bottle because you cannot immediately see the green benefits, but anything helps when it comes down to preventing the earth from dying a slow, miserable death at the hand of greedy consumers. I, for one, am glad that huge, multi-million dollar tech companies are doing their part to green the earth.
So, after reading about tech products I went searching online for more green technology and discovered that Superwarehouse.com is a one-stop shop for the best eco-friendly brands like Apple, HP, and Sony. As an aside, I like when companies are already ahead of the curve when I'm looking for something in the search engines. Apparently they are aware that people who are looking to buy new technology would also like to save the earth, so they make it easy to find products that use recycled and less wasteful materials.
I was thrilled to find out that Superwarehouse.com carries everything from green digital cameras to extremely affordable HP desktops. In this economy, anything affordable is good as far as I am concerned! Plus, from my research, albeit limited, I found cheaper printer prices than I have found elsewhere on the Net.
I hate to go on a tangent about printers, but the cheaper you can buy them the better because you'll spend a fortune on ink cartridges for as long as you have it. I know from personal experience. My printer is sitting lonesome on my desk and hasn't been turned on for months. Why? Because ink is too expensive! I'd rather just run to the library if I have to print out a page or two instead of buying a brand-new ink cartridge every other month. Annoying!
I think the first new piece of "tech bliss" I will buy when I can afford it will be a digital camera so I can effectively join the rest of modern society. I'm probably the only person who still doesn't have a digital camera, but I digress.
Now that I know I can help save the environment by carefully choosing a tech brand that has the earth in mind, it will make my purchase that much sweeter.

When male politicians get caught with their pants down, like New York Governor Eliot Spitzer today, or Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick or even Bill Clinton for that matter, why is it then that they roll out their wives with pearls on and tailored suits? Are wives this weak?If you found out that your husband was involved in a porn ring, would you stand by his side to show a united political front or tell him to face the music himself and pack his bags when he comes home?
This scene is so tired, ladies. Why do women always have to be carted out to prove some sort of "solid" marriage when clearly it isn't.

Today on ABC's "This Week" Hillary Clinton admitted that she would be willing to garner wages in order for everyone to have universal health care saying, "I think there are a number of mechanisms" that are possible, including "going after people's wages, automatic enrollment."

According to the CDC 33 percent of first marriages end within 10 years and 43 percent end within 15 years. Divorce is not good for mothers, fathers, children, or families so we urge you to keep your marriage or relationship with your mate solid, healthy and happy.
